Audited Supplier The P74JA differential pressure controller combines two highly sensitive pressure elements that, when changed, trigger a switching mechanism to control devices such as motor-driven valves. The switching mechanism provides SPDT non-fast-acting (floating) action, so the shared movable contact touches one of the two fixed contacts, or stays between them (no contact).

The P74JA differential pressure controller is commonly used in water systems to control the differential pressure between the primary water supply pipe. The SPDT floating action of the controller makes the contact and causes
the motor drive to operate the valve. A typical application is to install the valve in the bypass line of the system is the pump attachment. When the system pressure difference increases and exceeds the controller set value, the valve is further opened, and more water is diverted through the bypass valve, thus reducing the system pressure difference. The reduction in differential pressure causes the valve to start to turn down and the system to increase differential pressure.
The P74JA is also suitable for applications where other gases or liquids have poor appearance.

If any operation is out of control, which may result in personal injury or property damage, the installer has the responsibility to add facilities (safety, limiting control), protect them, or add systems (alarm, monitoring) to send an alarm in case of loss of control.
Mount the controller anywhere on a flat surface or control panel. The controller for mounting with two screws or bolts using a hole in the back of the case or with a No271-51 universal mounting bracket shall be mounted so that the bellows joint is above the level of the equipment used. This reduces the possibility of external defects accumulating in the bellows.

Avoid sharp bending or twisting of the copper pipe connection.
Reserve a longer connecting copper pipe and curl that part and install it securely to avoid vibration so that the connecting copper pipe is loose, to avoid "string" vibration when it is too tight, which will cause the connecting copper pipe to break. Prevent friction or impact between the connecting copper pipe and the surrounding surface to avoid damage to the connecting copper pipe.
