1.Product Overview
        HA007-4X-10/16Q Type Gas and Liquid-Driven Angle Type Drain (Sludge) Valve adopts a piston-type dual-chamber drive, with sensitive operation. It has the characteristics of a large opening height greater than DN2, unobstructed drainage, and automatic flushing after drainage. It is mainly used to remove sediment and impurities from various water tanks and containers. Widely applied in sedimentation tanks of various water plants and industrial and mining enterprises for drainage purposes.

        Control is achieved by the electromagnetic valve through the control circuit to the piston in the dual control chambers. The driving source for the electromagnetic valve is provided by compressed air or pressurized clean water, and the operating pressure P can be selected between 0.2 MPa and 1.0 MPa.
        The fundamental overview of the control principle is as follows:
        When the electromagnetic valve is de-energized, the drain valve should be in the closed state. At this time, the upper control chamber of the drain valve piston should be connected to the pressure driving source and isolated from the atmosphere, while the lower control chamber is connected to the atmosphere. When the electromagnetic valve is energized, the drain valve should be in the open state. At this time, the lower control chamber of the drain valve piston should be connected to the pressure driving source and isolated from the atmosphere, while the upper control chamber is connected to the atmosphere.
        A two-position five-way solenoid valve can be used to control a group of drain valves. Compressed air is used as the driving source, allowing simultaneous control of multiple drain valves.
 4.Installation and Debugging
        Installation can be referred to in the diagram. The valve body should not bear the weight of the pipeline. It is advisable to install a gate valve of the same specification at the inlet of the drain valve for maintenance purposes.
        After installation, it is necessary to carry out debugging. During the debugging process, carefully check whether all pipeline installations are reasonable and whether there are any leaks. During the operational test, it is essential to check that when the electromagnetic valve is de-energized, the drain valve should be in the fully closed state without any leaks, and when energized, it should be in the fully open state.
5.Maintenance and Care.
        As long as artificial damage and freezing are avoided, frequent maintenance is not necessary. If disassembly and maintenance are required, simply loosen the fastening bolts between the cylinder and the valve body. Utilizing the two lifting screw holes designed on the cylinder flange, lift the cylinder and valve body, and all components can be removed for maintenance operations.
        Regularly inspect the lubrication of the piston during routine maintenance. It is advisable to have a small amount of clean lubricating oil on the friction surface of the piston.
