This valve is primarily designed for use in industrial and residential building heating pipe networks. It exhibits superior flow characteristics, allowing for precise adjustment of pressure drop and flow rate, ensuring balanced flow distribution and achieving quantified flow management. It effectively addresses the issue of fluctuating room temperatures in heating and air conditioning systems. By strategically installing digital locking balancing valvesof appropriate specifications at each branch and user entry point, and securing them after a one-time calibration with our dedicated intelligent instruments, the system's total water volume remains within optimal limits. 3. How to Use
Our innovative method employs a slash, dark lift mechanism and is composed of the following key components: Valve Body, Valve Cover,Valve Plug, handwheel, digital display, locking device, and test Valvewith a novel structure,ensuring flexible operation, excellent sealing, and reliable performance. Its usage is detailed below:
For intuitive monitoring, the digital display window is strategically placed on the valve handwheel. Align the dial's numbers with the display window to read the decimal rotation count (the dial is the circular disk on the handwheel). Two side-by-side windows show the number of rotations. For instance, with a DN50 valve, if the display shows '1', interprets as two full rotations when '0' on the dial aligns perfectly with '0' in the window, indicating the valve is fully closed.
Secure the valve by inserting the special key into the side bolt and turning clockwise to lock; turn counterclockwise to unlock.
Small valvesat both the inlet and outlet ends of the valve serve as connection points for testing equipment.
4. Features and Settings
The diagram above illustrates the flow characteristic curve of our valve.Our valve with equal percentage characteristics excels in providing a consistent change rate in opening and flow. This means a larger opening results in a larger flow, while a smaller opening ensures a reduced flow. This feature is especially useful in engineering applications where specific flow rates are needed, and the equal percentage valve meets these precise requirements. Utilizing this characteristic, a specific flow rate can be set (unlike the linear valve of a fast-opening valve which lacks this capability), allowing for accurate adjustments to achieve an optimal state.
Follow this process to set the balance valve for the first time based on a predetermined pressure difference (suggested opening of 2.3 turns):
1) Completely close the valve (refer to Figure 1).
2) Open the valve to 2.3 turns (see Figure 2).
3) Use a hex wrench to tighten the side locking device clockwise.
4) The valve configuration has been successfully finalized, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for your system.
How to verify the preset value: Begin by securely closing the valve, followed by rotating the handwheel until it comes to a complete stop. Repeat the action until it halts again. The reading at this juncture represents the preset value, which is 2.3 cycles as illustrated in Figure 2.

7. Installation
1) Prior to and following the static balancing valve, it's essential to ensure a branch pipe section of adequate length is in place to maintain the rated flow output;
2) The placement of the static balance valve should be verified against the drawing. Ideally, install the static balance valve on the return pipe of the HVAC system.
3) Before installation, the static balance valve must be thoroughly cleaned. It is imperatively forbidden to allow welding slag, branches, stones, or any other debris to remain in the pipeline to prevent potential damage to the valve;
4) Ensure that the welding of the static pipe flange does not cause undue deformation, and the welding angle remains unaffected to preserve the flatness of the sealing surface;
5) Once the static balance valve is installed, the valve should be fully opened to allow for repeated flushing of the pipelines until they are completely dry. It is firmly advised against repeatedly closing the valve during the flushing process to avoid any potential damage.
