3.Operating Principle
Ingeniously designed, the exhaust valve is strategically positioned above the highest point along the pipeline's longitudinal axis. This allows air within the pipe to naturally gather inside the exhaust valve, promoting efficient operation.
1)During the water-filling phase of an empty pipeline: As air collects within the pipe, both the float and lifting hood experience gravitational pull without buoyancy support. This causes them to rest at the bottom of the float hood on a cushion. Subsequently, under the water's pressure, the entrapped air is swiftly expelled to the atmosphere via the float hood's window and the valve cover's exhaust hole, ensuring rapid and effective air evacuation.
2)Self-closing mechanism eliminates water leakage post-exhaustion: Once the internal air is expelled, water flows from the valve's base into the chamber. Consequently, the float and hood ascend swiftly, sealing the valve hole securely. The exhaust valve then automatically shuts, halting any exhaust and ensuring a leak-free operation.
3)During regular operations, small hole exhaust ensures consistent performance: Pipeline pressure variations cause dissolved air in water to surface and accumulate in the valve chamber. This forms a pressurized airbag, which expands, lowering the water level. When buoyancy diminishes below the float's weight, gravity causes the float to drop, opening the small exhaust port. This innovative design allows automatic, intermittent small hole exhaust. As the gas is discharged, the airbag vanishes, the water level rises, the float elevates, and the small exhaust port closes, completing the cycle.
4)Automatic air intake maintains pipeline safety: In the event of a vacuum inside the pipe, both the float and hood descend rapidly, allowing ample air intake and breaking the vacuum. This proactive mechanism safeguards the pipeline network's integrity.
