The self-operated flow control valve s, from a structural perspective, is essentially a double valve system, comprising both a manual regulating valve section and an automated balancing valve section, as beautifully illustrated in Figure 1. The manual regulating valve section adeptly sets the desired flow rate, while the automatic balancing valve section ensures the flow rate remains impressively constant.
The self-operated flow control valve within the manual control valve section follows the flow G=P2-P3 equation. Here, Kv represents the flow coefficient of the manual control valve port, with P2-P3 indicating the pressure differential across the manual control valve port. The Kv value remains steady as long as the opening is fixed, hence maintaining an unchanging flow G when P2-P3 remains stable. The automatic balancing valve section expertly manages P2-P3's stability. For instance, should the inlet and outlet pressure differential P1-P3 increase, the automatic balancing valve section adjusts by reducing through the pressure sensing film and spring mechanism, thus increasing P1-P2, all to preserve P2-P3's constancy; Conversely, a decrease in P1-P3 prompts the automatic balancing valve section to expand, reducing P1-P2 yet maintaining a constant P2-P3.

5. Installation and Commissioning
