Product Description

1. Overview
       The eccentric hemisphere valve utilizes an eccentric valve body, ball, and seat, as well as the valve stem, to automatically center and tighten during the rotation process, achieving a tight seal. During the opening process, the ball and seat of the valve completely separate, eliminating the wear of the sealing ring and overcoming the problem of wear between the sealing surface of the traditional ball valve and the ball. Non-metallic elastic materials are embedded in the metal seat, providing excellent protection to the metal surface of the seat.
       The eccentric hemisphere valve and flanged gate valve belong to the same type of valve, with the difference lying in their closing components, where a ball is used. The ball rotates around the centerline of the valve body to achieve opening and closing. The eccentric hemisphere valve is mainly used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the direction of flow of the medium.
2.Main feature
       1. Utilizes a straight-through design, offering low fluid resistance, simple structure, compact size, light weight, and wide applicability.
       2. Provides tight and reliable sealing. Currently, ball valves widely use PTFE and alloy materials for excellent sealing properties.
       3. Convenient operation with rapid opening and closing achieved by a 90-degree rotation. Coupled with an actuator, remote control can be realized.
       4. When fully open or closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and seat are isolated from the medium, preventing abrasion and wear on the valve sealing surfaces during medium passage.
       5. Features a straight-through flow channel suitable for high flow rates. The robust eccentric ball design makes it suitable for high-speed operation without vibration.
       6.Offers shearing functionality between the ball and seat during closure, capable of cutting off debris such as stones and sand particles.
       7. The structure adopts the principle of eccentric wedge tightening through the transmission mechanism to achieve gate tightening, regulating, and closing. The sealing pair employs metal-to-metal contact sealing with a hard surface ring. The double eccentric structure positions the ball inside a concealed chamber when open, providing a large flow area without valve abrasion. When closed, the ball is not subject to abrasion. During opening, the spherical surface of the ball progressively removes scale deposits, ensuring reliable sealing.
       8. The half ball of the valve is made of composite materials, with different alloys deposited on the base material. The seat undergoes corresponding deposition welding and special treatment to form various types of sealing surfaces, including corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and high strength, meeting various requirements for different occasions.
       9. Provides tight sealing, achieving zero leakage for gas transport.
       10. The valve core of the sealing pair retains a compensating amount. After seat wear, the service life is extended. Additionally, if the seat wears excessively, users can remove the compression nut, adjust, or replace the seat, avoiding the drawback of entire valve scrapping after seal failure.

Applicability:
       1. Suitable for applications involving clear water, raw sand (containing mud and sand), sewage, seawater, steam, gas, natural gas, and oil systems.
       2. Soft-sealed eccentric hemisphere valves are suitable for temperatures ranging from -10°C to 120°C, while hard-sealed eccentric hemisphere valves are suitable for temperatures around -40°C to 300°C.
       3. Suitable for bottom venting and control valves in dam systems (during high-speed flow).
       4. Applicable in valve systems for pump transportation, such as pressurized systems and central air conditioning control systems.
       5. Suitable for underground pipelines in water supply systems, gas systems, and natural gas systems.
3.working principle
       1. In the closed position, the ball is mechanically pressed against the valve seat by the action of the valve stem.
       2. When the valve stem is rotated counterclockwise, it moves in the opposite direction, slowly disengaging the ball from the valve seat due to mechanical motion.
       3. The valve stem continues to rotate, interacting with the flat key in the ball's keyway, causing the ball to start rotating.
       4. Until fully open, rotated to the limit position, the ball rotates to the fully open position (equipped with a switch positioning device).
       5. When closing, rotating the valve stem clockwise causes the ball to rotate and tightly engage with the valve seat, achieving a sealing effect.
       6. Continuing to rotate the handwheel, the valve stem is acted upon by the flat key embedded in the keyway, causing the valve stem and ball to rotate 90 degrees simultaneously.
       7. When almost closed, the ball has rotated 90 degrees while in contact with the valve seat.
       8. In the last few turns of the valve stem rotation, the flat surface at the bottom of the stem mechanically wedges against the ball, pressing it tightly against the valve seat to achieve complete sealing.
4.Design technical features
Hapq Top Mounted Flanged Eccentric Half Ball Valve       1.The eccentric hemisphere valve comes in top-mounted and side-mounted structures. This allows for direct online inspection and maintenance of the valve installed in pipelines, effectively reducing equipment downtime and lowering costs.
       2.The eccentric hemisphere valve is designed with a single valve seat, eliminating safety concerns related to abnormal pressure build-up in the valve cavity.
       3.It features a low torque design. With a specially structured valve stem, only a small handwheel is required to easily open and close the valve.
       4.The valve utilizes a wedge sealing structure. The mechanical force provided by the valve stem presses the ball wedge onto the valve seat for sealing, ensuring the sealing performance of the valve is unaffected by changes in pipeline pressure, thus guaranteeing reliable sealing performance under various working conditions.
       5.The eccentric hemisphere valve is equipped with a self-cleaning structure on its sealing surface. When the ball deviates from the valve seat, fluid in the pipeline uniformly passes along the ball sealing surface in a 360° manner, eliminating not only the scouring of the valve seat by high-speed fluid but also washing away accumulated deposits on the sealing surface, achieving a self-cleaning effect.
       6.It employs dual sealing with both soft and hard materials. By combining soft and metal seals, dual soft and hard sealing is achieved, ensuring bi-directional zero leakage and significantly increasing the reliability and service life of the valve.
