From a fluid mechanics perspective, a pressure reducing valve is a throttling device with variable local resistance. By changing the throttling area, it alters the flow velocity and kinetic energy of the fluid, resulting in different pressure losses, thereby achieving pressure reduction. Subsequently, with the regulation of the control system, the fluctuation of the pressure behind the valve is balanced with the spring force, ensuring that the pressure behind the valve remains constant within a certain error range.
