1.Product overview
HA001-4X-10/16Q type adjustable reducing valve is a kind of valve driven by the pressure of medium, without needing external energy. It is a kind of hydraulic control valve which can be adjusted through pilot valve within the nominal pressure range, to meet the outlet pressure required in different design conditions.
The given outlet pressure will keep unchanged under any flow rate. When the inlet pressure P1 is fluctuated within the range of 0.8P1-1.06P1, the given outlet pressure P2 will not be changed

1,This product shall comply with the provisions of CJ/T256-2007 Separate Pilot Control Pressure Reducing and Maintaining Valve;
2,The connecting flange shall comply with the provisions of GB/T1721.6; the intensity seal test shall comply with the provisions of GB/T13927;

3.Operating principle
1) .The driving power of the adjustable pressure reducing valve is of the hydraulic control realized by the self-pressure of the medium with no need of external power (refer to figure 1). The up and down of the membrane constitutes the transmission structure of the double room control. The pressure signal at the outlet end of the main valve enters into the lower control cabinet of the membrane and balances with the spring force in the valve body. When the outlet pressure changes and loses balance, the pilot valve 6 will adjust the pressure of the upper control cabinet of the membrane automatically, realizing the pilot amplification control to the main valve, making the valve rod move up and down to change the opening of the main valve and restore the balance. To keep the set value of the outlet pressure of the main valve unchanged.
2) .The pressure water enters into the water intake of the main valve, with the overflow loss produced by the curtain area formed by the valve clack and the valve seat and the mechanical loss of overcoming the movement of the spring and the open-close part, to achieve the pressure reducing purpose of the outlet end. The smaller the curtain area (namely the smaller the opening of the main valve), the greater the flow velocity changes,the greater the pressure drops, conversely, the smaller the pressure drops.
3) .For the lower control cabinet of the pilot valve membrane, with the control pipeline and the pressure signal at the outlet end of its main valve, its force is upward, while the upper control cabinet of the membrane is connected with the inlet end of the main valve and the force of the membrane is downward. After the set pressure is confirmed, the upper and lower force of the membrane is balanced.
4) .When the adjusting bolt at the upper end of the pilot valve deck is rotated clockwise, the outlet pressure will increase and when it is rotated anticlockwise, the outlet pressure will decrease and the main valve will close when the spring is entirely loosened.
4.Main Performance and Characteristics
1)About the maximum flow:
The maximum flow of reducing valve is defined as: the upper limit of flow in the event of a drop of the given outlet pressure of 0.1Mpa. Apparently the maximum flow value is different since the products of each enterprise are different due to the flow characteristics.
2)The flow characteristics of the product
The maximum flow of the product: Starts from debugging of the micro flow that closes to zero to the flow velocity that reaches 8m/s, the drop-out value of the set outlet pressure is smaller than 0.1Mpa. The flow velocity of the supplied water at the water supply and drainage area is always 2m/s and generally it will not exceed 3m/s. As of the flow characteristic curve, refer to figure 1 and the maximum flow, refer to table 1.

3)The pressure characteristics of the product
When the inlet pressure fluctuates at the range of 0.8P1 - 1.05P1, the set pressure of the main valve outlet can be kept unchanged and refer to figure 2 for the pressure characteristic curve.
When the upstream pressure is lower than the set outlet pressure, the main valve will be closed automatically.
The adjustable pressure reducing valve is widely used in water supply and drainage, heating and ventilation/air condition and the working condition that requires pressure reducing control.
The scope of the diameter of the adjustable pressure reducing valve is generally not more than 300mm (including 300mm). The body of the main valve is designed into the straight-flow "gourd" shape with excellent anti-cavitation performance. With the preparation of the cavitation cap, it can be used in the working conditions of high pressure difference or hot water.
