3. How to Use
The usage method structure employs a slash and dark lift design. It is composed of the valve body, valve cover,valve plug, hand wheel, digital display, locking device, and test valve. This innovative structure ensuresflexible operation, exceptional sealing, and its usage method is outlined as follows:
The handwheel features a digital display window, indicating the valve's position. Align the dial's number with the digital display window to view the decimal number per turn (the circular disk on the handwheel is the dial). The display window has 2 rows, with the upper number showing the opening. For a DN50 valve,when the display shows '1', the '0' on the dial corresponds to 2 turns. Aligning '0' on the dial with '0' in the display indicates the valve is fully closed.
To lock the valve, insert the special key into the bolt on the side and turn clockwise to secure; turn counterclockwise to unlock.
The small valvesat both ends of the valve inlet and outlet are designed for tester connections.
4. Features and Settings
The diagram above illustrates the flow characteristic curve of the valve.Our company's valve features an equal percentage characteristic, reflecting consistent flow rate changes with each adjustment. Larger openings result in greater flow, optimal for large-scale engineering applications. This equal percentage valve aligns perfectly with these needs. By utilizing this feature, a specific flow rate can be set as a reference (the linear valve of the fast-opening valve lacks this capability). Adjustments can be precisely measured to achieve the desired state.
To set up the balance valve for the first time based on the specified pressure difference (preset 2.3 turns) follow these steps:
1) Completely close the valve (refer to Figure 1).
2) Open the valve to 2.3 turns (refer to Figure 2).
3) Use a hex wrench to tighten the side locking device clockwise.
4) The valve setting is now complete.
How to determine the preset value: Begin by securely closing the valve.Next, rotate the handwheel until it reaches its limit. Continue turning the handwheel fully until it can go no further. At this juncture, the displayed reading is your preset value (illustrated as 2.3 cycles in this case, refer to Figure 2 for clarity).

7. Installation Process for Optimal Performance
1) Before initiating the static balancing valve, ensure the installation of a branch pipe section of ample length to guarantee the rated flow output.
2) Verify the installation position of the static balance valve in accordance with the provided drawing guidelines. It is recommended to position the static balance valve on the return pipe of the HVAC system for optimal functionality.
3) Prior to installation, the static balance valve should be thoroughly cleaned. Ensure that no welding slag, branches, stones, or other debris are left within the pipeline, as they may cause damage to the valve;
4) When welding the static pipe flange, ensure that excessive deformation is avoided and that the welding angle does not compromise the flatness of the sealing surface.
5) After the static balance valve installation, the valve should be fully opened to allow thorough flushing of the pipelines until they are clear and dry. It is strictly prohibited to repeatedly close the valve during this process to prevent potential damage.
