3.Operating Principle
Positioned with precision, the exhaust valve sits atop the highest point along the pipeline's longitudinal axis. As air infiltrates the pipe, it instinctively gravitates toward the exhaust valve for optimal release.
1)Upon initiating the water filling process in an unfilled pipeline: The presence of air at this stage causes the float and the lifting hood to succumb solely to gravitational forces, devoid of buoyancy. Consequently, they rest at the float hood's base on a cushion. Water pressure swiftly expels air from the pipe into the atmosphere via the float hood's window and the valve cover's exhaust opening.
2)Efficient self-sealing post-exhaustion without water leakage: Once air exits the pipe, water from the valve's lower section infiltrates the valve chamber, prompting the float and lifting hood to ascend rapidly. The lifting hood seals the valve hole securely, auto-closing the exhaust valve to halt the exhaust process without any water leakage.
3)Seamless small hole exhaust during standard operations: Fluctuating pressure in the pipeline causes air dissolved in water to emerge gradually, accumulating in the exhaust valve chamber at the pipe's apex. An expanding airbag forms, decreasing the valve's internal water level. When diminished buoyancy fails to counterbalance the float's weight, gravity causes the float to descend, opening the small exhaust port at the top. This allows automatic intermittent small hole exhaust. As gas is released and the airbag vanishes, the water level rises, prompting the float to ascend, closing the small exhaust port.
4)Automatic air intake to counteract vacuum conditions: In scenarios of vacuum formation within the pipe, the float and lifting hood descend simultaneously, enabling a substantial influx of air to disrupt the vacuum, safeguarding the pipeline network's integrity.
