Δ  This mute check valve HC42T/X mainly consists of  body, seat, flow guide, disc, shaft and compression spring etc. The streamline chamber design minimizes the pressure loss. The opening of clapper valve is so short that the valve can be quickly turned off to prevent the slamming noise of water hammer. It is a mute silent non return valve. 

The mute check valve series is popularly used for water supply and drainage, fire fighting and HVAC system, petrochemical industry, electricity power etc. 
It is installed at the outlet side of the pump to prevent backflow and the water hammer damage to pump.
