3. Working Principle of the Self-Operated Pressure Differential Control Valve
This intelligent pressure difference control valve is typically installed on the return water pipe at the user's inlet. The pressure guide pipe located beneath the valve connects to the inlet water supply pipe, where P1 represents the water supply pressure, P2 is the internal return water pressure, and P3 is the external return water pressure of the valve.
With the pressure difference △Pi (APi-P1-P2) set as the valve's pressure differential, the pressure P1 within the lower membrane chamber of the valve balances the thrust from P2 and the spring's compression deformation, determining both the flow cross-sectional area A and the flow coefficient for the fluid traversing the valve. As the flow rate shifts, the equilibrium of these forces prompts a change in the cross-sectional area A and the valve's flow coefficient, while ensuring △Pi remains steadfast.
Upon determining fluid properties, pipe diameter, and flow resistance coefficient, the formula for single pipe resistance is approximately expressed as:

7.Installation and Debugging Guidelines
1) Ensure the medium's flow direction aligns perfectly with the arrow on the valve body; this guarantees optimal performance.
2) The pressure difference control valve must be strategically installed on the return pipe. The valve connects with the pressure guide pipe, which should further connect to the water supply pipe. To initiate the blockage elimination function, it is advisable to install a 1/2" ball valve at the water supply end of the pressure guide pipe.
3) Protect the valve's automatic adjustment capability by installing a filter on the water supply pipe before the pressure guide pipe to prevent degradation from poor water quality. valve operation can be compromised if this is not followed.
4) Equip the water supply and return pipes before the valve with pressure gauges. This facilitates easy pressure difference adjustment and control.
5) Should you notice an abnormal system flow, either excessive or insufficient, the cause might be debris obstructing the valve plug during pipeline component installation. Temporarily closing the 1/2" ball valve for 3-5 minutes might resolve light blockages automatically. If not, disassemble the valve to manually clear the blockage.
6) Method for Adjusting Control Pressure Difference: Turn the pressure regulating valve stem counterclockwise. Watch the pressure gauge as the pressure difference is reduced by 0.01MPa, gradually increasing the control pressure difference from 0.02MPa to 0.03MPa, step by step.
7) The valve operates within a pressure difference range of 0.02-0.03 MPa. If post-installation pressure difference exceeds 0.3MPa, it is crucial to install a manual control valve on the water supply pipe to adjust the pressure difference at the heat inlet device effectively. Failing to do so may cause the pressure difference valve to function under a minimal opening, resulting in noise and significantly reduced lifespan of the valve.
