3. How to Use

Its usage method is detailed as follows:
The digital display window is strategically placed on the valve 's handwheel. Align the dial's number with the digital display window to reveal the decimal number of each turn (the circular disk on the handwheel serves as the dial). The digital display windows are arranged side by side, where the upper number of turns indicates the opening state. For example, in a DN50 valve, if the digital display shows 1, the dial's number 0 signifies 2 complete turns. When both the dial's and the digital display's 0s are perfectly aligned, this indicates the valve is entirely closed.
When securing the valve in a locked position, insert the specialized key (locking device) into the bolt located on the side and rotate it clockwise to secure; turning it counterclockwise will unlock.
The miniature valvespositioned at both the inlet and outlet ends of the valve are engineered for seamless connection with testers.

To initially set the balance valve based on a given pressure differential (preset to a 2.3-turn opening), follow these steps:
1) Ensure the valve is completely closed (refer to Figure 1).
2) Gradually open the valve to a precise 2.3 turns (refer to Figure 2).
3) Use a hex wrench to firmly secure the side locking device by turning it clockwise.
4) Your valve setting process is now complete.
How to check the preset value: Begin by closing the valvecompletely. Next, rotate the handwheel until it reaches a full stop. Continue to turn the handwheel once more until it halts again. At this juncture, the reading you observe indicates the preset value, which in this example is 2.3 cycles (refer to Figure 2 for a visual guide).

7. Installation Steps
1) Prior to and following the setup of the static balancing valve,ensure the installation of a branch pipe section of adequate length. This is crucial to maintain the rated flow output.
2) Verify the installation position of the static balancing valve against the design drawings. It is advisable to secure the static balancing valve on the return pipe of the HVAC system for optimal performance.
3) Ensure the static balancing valve is thoroughly cleaned before installation. It is imperative to remove all welding slag, branches, stones, and any debris from the pipeline to prevent damage to the valve.
4) During the welding of the static pipe flange, avoid excessive deformation. Ensure the welding angles do not compromise the flatness of the sealing surface.
5) Once the static balancing valve is installed, completely open the valve to facilitate repeated flushing of the pipelines until dry. It is strictly prohibited to close the valve during flushing to prevent potential damage.
